I myself have on a lot episodes, but I guess it would be best if you could just add whole series and not the episodes, but I don't think it's much of an issue. There are already some series on some lists right now, so relax.
@Siladheil: Personal lists - such as TV shows - won't count towards your total (unless it's included as an official top list). So add all the House episodes you want, it doesn't change your ranking.
Quicky, If you don't want to vote on the films in Imdb just put all the links in the form http://www.imdb.com/rg/action-box-title/add-to-my-movies/mymovies/list?pending&add=######
where ###### is the imdb id without the tt then open up all the links and they'll all be added to the pending list, which you can import here.

This site is for film geeks or at least for people who are interested in movies enough to care how many important films they have yet to see. Don't you want it to stay that way? The next thing we know we'll have people who have over 2000 checks because they've marked all episodes of The Girls of The Playboy Mansion. Of what use is that? Yes, there are some very decent tv-shows out there (I myself have seen every episode of House), but even adding them would defeat the initial purpose of the site and just make it into an imdb clone.
You've created a great website that many users like myself love and are very thankful for. Please, don't ruin it.
Could I use this add movie feature to regularly update my 'checks' by uploading a list of all movies I've seen (a .txt with all the imdb url's for example)? Or will I have to manually check each of these movies once they have been imported from the queue?
Right now, the thing I miss most on icheckmovies.com is a way to figure out which movies on the site I have seen but haven't gotten around to 'check' yet. Up till now I've been doing it by periodically checking the film database ranked by most entries in top lists. But this is tedious and not very effective.
If I could use this add new movies feature to upload a list of all movies I've watched, and they would be checked automatically, either right away or when the film is imported onto the site, that'd be a great time saver!

Strangely enough there are 998 movies on it...
That's so cool! What a smart move! I mean, it's impossible to add every single film by hand, with just a few people.

I don't understand this at all. A list of nominees might be tedious to you, but to an Oscar fan it's a lot more interesting than, say, the top Russian Films or all the lists of short movies are to someone who doesn't like short films. So you say it's a "tedious" list; does that mean we're not allowed to do it? Why is wanting to have a nominee list on this site a crime? Because you make it sound like one! So what if the OP has seen lots of them? Maybe you've seen all the movies on another list, and I bet you were happy to tick them off. And if you think a list of films that could have been the best picture of the year is tedious, wait until there's lists of "OMG the best movies with all the Twilight ppl in them!".
