I like new lists. The TSP1000 list cannot be taken seriously though. Relatively few 1990+ movies are listed, which implies that movies are getting worse through the years. It also lists a movie like "The texas chainsaw massacre" at #301 which pretty much confirms that it's a joke.
@ Hadis: The TSP list is purely based on critics/filmmakers lists, who generally do list more older movies (check the Sight & Sound poll for examples). The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is one of the best horror movies ever made, that doesn't confirm anything.
Also, the TSP list is more or less a list of movies that have stood the test of time, so it's logical to not have to many new movies there; it also doesn't implies that movies are getting worse. To balance this, they also have a top 250 of 21st century movies: http://www.theyshootpictures.com/21stcentury.htm
