It seems like they deleted the All-Time Worldwide Box office list at IMDB (as of January 1, 2016). I suggest to replace this list with the All Time Worldwide Box Office list of Box Office Mojo, which is a sister site of IMDB anyway. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/alltime/world/
This weekend only (March 14-16, 2014) we will witness to two more titles taking a spot in here. I'm talking about 300: Rise of an Empire and Mr Peabody & Sherman, as they keep soaring towards 200 mln $. I think we should set the bar a little lower for this list. We should keep in mind that nowadays even a low-budget horror flick could easily get to 200 mln, taking into consideration inflation and mass marketing (social networks and so on). 350-400 mln $ should do. We would have 242 titles as of today, but with only one or two every couple of months adding to the list.
I'm honestly in no hurry with this list. I feel like I should see these films because they are part of the culture, since so many has seen them but not many of the ones I have not seen interest me. I have 99 films to go and doubt I will ever finish it all.
I think IMDB, method of measuring the Box Office is okay, but definitely Box-Office Mojo is much more reliable. Transformers 3 for example, is now the 4 in the All-Time Worlwide Box Office, and here is 5. Also, there are plenty of non-US movies that appear in Mojo, and not on IMDB.
Well, some people - like me - don't mind watching mainstream movies. Sure, I love critics's movies but we don't have to be high pitched cinephiles who thinks only "great" movies should be watched. Mainstream movies are a great way to talk with other people. I don't expect to have a conversation about Lawrence of Arabia or 2001 : A Space Odyssey with a person who doesn't "love" movies. But I expect to be able to talk Avatar, Twilight and Harry Potter with them. Sure, these movies aren't great most of them, but to be able to talk about movies without being picky, this is a great list.
Worldwide inflation rates are available form the website of the World bank going back to 1977. As the problem of inflation in this particular list seems to start around that time, correcting the cut-off value with the inflation rate would make this a much better list. Because the relative obscurity of some of the films on it is getting rediculous.

All-Time Worldwide Worst listGary OldMan
...and then we could go the other way and add even more crappy movies that failed to hit the inflated $200M threshold. Who makes these decisions?elcid
There are already plenty of complaints about sense and size of this list, add mine also.JCS
