FYI #108 is the wrong double suicide. The image and link is to Oshima's 'Japanese Summer: Double Suicide' from the Eclipse set when it should be Shinoda's 'Double Suicide'. I will send and email for them to correct it.
I think the first big chunk of the list is more or less random, and then they've added new titles as they appeared, which means more or less in spine number order. More or less.
@werobbanks: Some Criterion Collection titles have also been released under the Eclipse label (though usually without the nifty restorations and extras).

Awesome! It looks pretty sweet now, it adds a sense of continuity with the covers and themes in order of appearance.ErikSchierboom
The list should be ordered by Spine Number now.Knaldskalle
Assuming 'ctappy' means great, I agree.PeacefulAnarchy
The first chunk is alphabetical I think.Knaldskalle

Where does the order in this list come from? It's not sorted by spine or alphabet. Is it just random?thetramp
Yeah, I'd like a list of the eclipse series on their own as well.Jumping Elephant
@Zuma: agreed.Zuma
Having only a few of the 20+ Eclipse series included in this list makes no sense at all.Either include them all here, or place the Eclipse in it's own list.
I would lean towards a separate list to make it easier on people attempting to see all the Criterion Films with a spine number.

Elevator to the Gallows is on the list: http://www.icheckmovies.com/movie/ascenseur+pour+lechafaud/It's listed under the aka-title Frantic, for some reason.

No, the links didn't come out right... It's "AK100" for the first link and "Eclipse 23" for the second.Knaldskalle

(I hope I get the links right, I'm notoriously bad at this BB system.)

I could be blind...but there's no Cronos.werobbanks
The comments are saying this doesn't include Eclipse titles, yet there are Eclipse titles all over this. I see some Kurosawa and Ozu Eclipse releases.Showing items 31 – 45 of 67
