It has been over 25 years since the release of “The Shawshank Redemption,” a prison escape film based on the 1982 Stephen King novella “Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption.” It's arguably one of the best movies ever made. The film is undoubtedly synonymous with the prison genre, but it’s not the only flick about life in the clink.
