It is amazing as Nick is from my field of research, I have read his publications, learned from his work and have also seen him grow up from a dreamer to a scientist through these films. :)

My heart breaks whenever I see clips of Neil as a boy. It's a shame we have to grow up.

"Give me a child until he is seven and i will give you the man. This has been a glimpse of Britain's future".

So began the Up series and they are still true to their motto. I have seen all of the films so I can't say how 56 Up holds up as an independent film. I guess it would not work really. But "knowing" these people through the other films you just can't help but enjoy every moment. I feel like little has happened in their life these 7 years so I'm pleased Michael Apted focused on their children and grand children. After all, this is where they are going to continue. It is our children and grandchildren that continue our life, whether we or they realise it or not. Well, mostly they, we know :)

Not the best of the Up films but still a great enjoyment.

We should be due the next one soon ... All the Brexit stuff.. will polarise the participants more than anything .. Tony, will, of course, be a strident leave supporter I predict..
