I could not stand Hae-jun's high-pitched screeching. It was released in 3D, which explains a lot (gratuitous motorcycle racing on an oil rig, et c). It might have been more bearable if I hadn't watched it at home on my computer. I usually love bad scifi/action movies, and I love Korean films, but I had to watch this movie in two sittings. 11 years 10 months ago -

This movie is far from terrible. Not sure why there is so much hate on this movie. It is not as good The Host, but it was still a fun monster movie. Not sure why it took some people 2 sittings to get through it or why people are so up in arms about the motorcycle race scene. there are lots of movies where they ignore physics or show things that don't work the way they imply, like hacking, motorcycle stunts, etc.. but you can still enjoy the movie, I mean Crank is super unrealistic but also a super fun movie. All in all, I find the movie to be silly, entertaining and fun. I found it to be an enjoyable hour and 44 minutes. 5 years ago
