Really amazing animation and a spooky element to it, nice to see A Christmas Carol in another perspective.

This movie looked terrible! Creepy characters who looked neither realistic nor cartoony, tiresome unnecessary complex camera movements and the worst: the '3D without depth': Lots of angles with a person or object in the foreground of a scene, while both fore- and background were in focus. VERY unrealistic and even disorienting.

Good points were The actors' voicework (which was decent) and the story is of course classic. But the weight of the material didn't combine well with the 3D-slapstick. Is this a children's cartoon and a scary adult movie at the same time?

It sticks very very close to the book, except for one way too long escape scene with the third ghost.
The animation hasn't aged that well, but the camera, the style and the transitions were marvellous to look at.
To anyone saying the story or the dialogues were weak in this one: The story and the dialogue in this is basically 1:1 Dickens. They barely changed anything.

Dialogue that children won't understand. Animation that will make adults nauseous.

Pretty good version of the story. I loved the beautiful pictueres and all the great animation. Jim Carrey's face was unmistakable.

The one part where Scrooge is kind of small and just slipping around in pipes was a bit long and tedious, I guess they made it just to show off the 3D effects... but the rest was really enjoyable.
