A warm, thorough look into what is, I personally think, one of the most important directors in film. Incredibly inspiring and insightful for any aspiring director or actor. Showcasing the amazing effort and passionate directing methods and sometimes unorthodox practices used by John Cassavetes through allowing his actors so much freedom (within his far-reaching boundaries), complemented by a form of down-to-earth, equal-platform collaboration. An exhibit of a man's love and unwavering to create something of his absolute own. A work of art free from the hands of the studios. 9 years 8 months ago -
