I think this film reminded me more of I <3 Huckabees than Wes Anderson flicks.

It's clear Roman Coppola is nowhere near the level of Wes Anderson at offbeat dry comedy. Schwartzman is the only redeeming feature of this debacle.

In my opinion it's more like all the latest scripts of Coppola plus a little of "Eternal Sunshine...". The leading role is perfect for Charlie Sheen. I like it, great humor, great casting

As Roman Coppola was a co-writer on Moonrise kingdom and a co-writer and second unit director of The Darjeeling unlimited, I don't really think you can say he is "ripping off the style of Wes Anderson"
