A baffling script parades Eddie Murphy around from one contrived situation to another in this over-wrought "what if" comedy run amok. The film's moral ending is somewhat vague at best, and Murphy's predicament -- despite his strong physical comedy -- comes off like a man whose cell phone battery is about to die.
Not as terrible as the reviews would have you believe, but there is nothing of sense or value in this 90-minute waste of time that calls itself a comedy. I didn't laugh so much as smile at the intention of comedy. 10 years 10 months ago -

I admit the trailer made me excited to watch this film plus Murphy is in it, but when I actually did watch the movie well it made me laugh a couple of times but the story didn't work out for me. 11 years ago
