REALLY wish the trailers didn't give away the major reveal, would've been a pretty awesome bait-and-switch but I guess people don't like being misled these days when it comes to their entertainment. Oh well, film is imperfect but good overall. Cast gets the job done, it's plenty gory, production design is appropriately gothic, and the movie is not without some legitimate suspense. Some hit-and-miss storytelling and erratically directed action scenes keep it from greatness, but still a good watch. 5 days 4 hours ago
