Some of the humor is quite juvenile, but Jim Carrey is always watchable, and his Ace Ventura is capable of something more than cartoon acting. Silly, but frequently funny. Unfortunately, the transphobic humor at the end means it hasn't aged well at all.

a very good example of a movie that did not age well. it's annoying and underwhelming, but still highly quotable, i'll give it that.

A rhino shits Ace Ventura out, much like the studio shit this sequel out. Except the rhino didn't first convince some prime British actors to humiliate themselves in the process.
