[SPOILER]If you want to do a story twist, please do it surprising. In this movie, I looked into McGregor's face and I knew, he's going to be the A-Hole in this movie. Also when he said: "He's got a gun." etc., I just knew, he did the mark himself, it was so obvious.
Also the movie just seemed rushed and rushed. Didn't take some time, just wanted to finish the story.
But the cinematography and the story were great.

I dislike how it deviated so much from the novel but if I haven't read the book, I'd definitely say that the movie is good.I am Artemis
Good movie, but the novel was better :Dlucafilm
I can't believe this has been actually done. Hank that since the second one is concerned on how to save the world regardless. Poor Rome! Come one, so silly! Don't recommendEarring72
Fun and exciting movie with good cast. Just forget about logic because the plot is beyond preposterous. Not as much as the novel that was even more stupid. But it does make a nice thrillerIreneAdler
I liked that one very much! I love the books by Dan Brown, but I had forgotten most of the content of the book by the time I watched the movie. This way, both times the ending came as a surprise to me :)I like the story, though it's probably a bit too hurriedly told in the film - the ending was great. Ewan McGregor was fascinating, I can't say enough about him. Tom Hanks was good as well.

The plot of this movie is completely insane and the twist at the end is obvious, but despite this it manages to be reasonably entertaining, as Hanks runs around Rome spouting reams of exposition between action scenes. I enjoyed this a lot more than the Da Vinci Code.Dieguito
I always like historical movies that involve lots of religion, so we can remember who they are.. But this movie is more like an action blockbusterfjcaetano
[CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS]It's an loyal adaptation of a good novel to a good screenplay. Maybe Ron Howard exagerated in the action scenes to make up for the lack of it in The Da Vinci Code. It just raises and raises with climax over climax and it get a little too tiring. Afterall, it became an action film and not a conspiracy adventure.
I don't like the Langdon character. It's too righteous and it just doesn't work. So does Tom Hanks performing it. In the other hand we have Ewan McGregor in the role of Il Camerlengo McKenna which works perfectly. Couldn't be done better.
The graphics and cinematography were amazing and just makes me more and more want to go to Rome. The statues' takes and the bomb scene were amazing and breathtaking.
7/10

Pretty epic. With the music and the beautiful imagery they really succeeded in creating what I call the "ooh, something's going on here" atmosphere.TechnoFAN
