Pales compared to the book. HARD. It is not the same story, they made it focus on something entirely different. the book is much darker, and focuses more on the mind of Kim Karlsen, while the movie is pretty much your standard A4 romcom. It seems like they just picked out some of the most insane and memorable moments from the book and jammed it together to make a movie. It seems like they doesn't realize that those scenes have no gravitas when we know nothing about the characters, do not know their motivations and care for them. Just read the book, people. While you normally get the essence of the book by watching the movie, this time it is just a completely different story. 9 years 7 months ago
