Saw a comment on here asking “has anyone had an experience like this?” In terms of meeting someone and instantly had chemistry with them, yes I think there are a lot of people out there that have done that.

I didn't like very much "Before sunrise" and that's why I was really surprised about the sequel. So I think I have to watch the second sequel, maybe it's even better?

This movie makes me appreciate the fact that I have English as a first language so that I can pick up on all the little nuances to how the actors speak to one another. There's nothing really I can say about this film, I just love it!

afan - I know "pretentious" is kind of the internet catch-all term for "any film that I had problems with and which does things even slightly differently than most films," but, actually, the film strikes me as one of the least pretentious ever made.

Much better than Before Sunrise, partially because it's shorter and more urgent, but also these people were the worst in their 20s. Now in their 30s, they're actually PEOPLE you can give a shit about. They've met each other once, but now they "know" each other, so none of the obnoxious faux intellectualism that's rife in the first one is here. This is a film about regrets but also the knowledge that time moves on. Linklater clearly got the idea of doing Boyhood from these movies, but unfortunately that flick is junk compared to Before Sunset.
