Very disappointing, cheaply made, no-budget "bio-pic" of Bettie Page that really just seemed like an excuse for the filmmakers to recreate their own versions of the Irving Klaw bondage films in which Ms. Page became infamous for starring/modeling. Still, if that's your particular interest, it's got about five of these recreations (presented as silent black & white footage) placed throughout the film. I guess I was expecting more of a straight biography/drama, and unfortunately the fetish-movie recreations drag down the pacing a lot... it's easy to get bored after the third or fourth one, which is truly a shame for any movie featuring beautiful, scantily-clad women. 11 years 6 months ago
