Eric - There aren't any incredible actors in this film, but the set design and cinematography are indeed incredible and not in the least bit wasted.

dnalysis - Actually, the film becomes more and more distinguished and impressive as time goes on. Here in the 21st century its achievements are even more impressive, as no one since has done what it did, in spite of the improved technology. In other words, in spite of the huge technological advancements since then, this film beats just about every other CGI-fest to come out in the last 30 years. It looks better, sounds better, has a better script, and addresses its themes more intelligently than just about any other science fiction film out there.

It's a special movie. Not all the movies can be so great with slow pace, but this one is very good.

It's definitely very different from what I always tought the movie was. But I didn't feel disappointed. You gotta love their acting, it was really outstanding and in part that is why I liked the movie.

A mentally disturbing neo-noir film about human empathy, which draws a strong line between the shades of being immorally human and rightfully artificial. A definite hallmark in the field of sci-fi movies which is yet to be out-classed.

Blade Runner does lose it's appeal at times thanks to some weird action sequences. However, it more than makes up for it with it's visionary depth.

In my book, Blade Runner is the science-fiction film that has paved a golden path for other sci-fi sagas to follow into. [9.5/10]

It's a slow moving movie that lives from the detail and atmosphere. And if you don't pay attention you might miss out the real story. It still gives me goosebumps every time.

Someone described it as future noir. I think that's quite fitting.

If you want to give it a try go with the Final Cut HD-Version on a big screen.

Pretty solid film, but its reputation is so large that it has a somewhat hard time living up to it.

I love the design, the score, the filmic quality. On a technical level this movie stands among the greatest ever made. And that's why I hate myself for not liking it. It bores me. I desperately want to vigorously love this movie, and from all technical aspects I do. I just can't get through the story, which is fairly objectively well written. I don't know why I don't like it.

I thought it was pretty good, i liked the setting and the whole atmosphere. Also great acting by Rutger Hauer.

But i must add i think that seeing this movie 30 years ago would make it alot better.

Beautiful amazing movie. The noir elements are great, the atmosphere is really cool and a picture of the future that doesn't seem to be too far off.
