This is a magnificent film. Visually beautiful and very focused on the absolute core emotions, that makes the story of a man like Chet Baker interesting. Instead of branching out, trying to capture step in the mans career, it zooms in and lingers on the beauty and sadness of a very tough period in this great musicians life. Baker's music has meant a lot to me and this movie shows some of the sacrifices he made to achieve the melancholy of that music. 7 years 8 months ago
