Brutal and vertiginous.
It definitely has the vibe of Noe's first movies.
Furthermore it contains one of the most stunning dancing scenes in late movie history.
I really liked it.
Suprisingly good in comparison to Gaspar Noes last movie. This one felt somewhat of an insane combination of some elements from both Enter the void aswell as Irreversible. The visuals and actors are great (especially the dancing scenes). A bit of a lackluster plot imo but altogether great movie.
The psychedelic panic attack this movie effectively induces wares off near the end, as it could have been a lot shorter, but other than that, this film is an explosive, sensory overload of a treat. If you've ever had a bad acid trip, you might wanna bring the valium for this one.
Love all of his last three movies, but this one was disappointing at last. All the good thing of the dancing scenes, doesn't bring points for the over simplifcating plot and the attempt to put this unplausible mess of character reactinons, into wide reaching philosophical term. Sorry, but that hurts.
this was garbage, nonsense film with a stupid plot. Gaspar Noé's ideas are like an incel twelve years old mind. The conversation parts dialogues are the most stupid and basic thing i've ever seen in a film. The only two good things was the sound design and the opening dance scene
