Really wanted this to be a good movie. I love the original.It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good neither. Terrible script. Just another forgettable experience.

Not as terrible as the other reviewers make it out to be. It’s not great. It’s not really GOOD, but I’ve seen MUCH worse sequels. Wonder Woman 1984 is worse - I couldn’t wait for that one to be over. But I stuck with this one to the end just fine. In the end, though, it was totally unnecessary and I’m glad it was free on Amazon.chunkylefunga

Tracy Morgan and Leslie Jones play their typical 'loud and stupid character', which just didn't work and was really annoying.
The plot was just a shoddy version of the original.
And really, a rape plot and everyone being just ok with it?
Relies too heavily on nostaglia.
Some funny parts, but sadly not enough.

Honestly, since most of the humor comes from culture clashes between African royalty and black working class Americans, you could probably have just as much fun watching the Black Jeopardy sketch with T'Challa.Earring72
