This is the first appearance of Betty Boop. It's a weird cartoon, but it is amazing to watch how much animation changes even within the first few years of Betty Boop's career. It is even more amazing to watch this and then to watch where animation is today. 69 years later Avatar was produced. Considering how long it took us to get representation down in painting, the speed in which we developed technique and style in animation is incredible. 12 years 6 months ago
