The theme song and the art direction are specially dated-- if not outright garish. But overall this was pretty good until the last half hour or so. It would've been better if (mind the spoilers): a. the seduction of the priest had been another game for her as opposed to an honest search for contrition; b. she had accepted her death by fire as defiantly as she had lived; and c. it had been directed by anyone other than Roger Vadim.
