28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes, 12 seconds. That is when my mind will be put back together.

Weird, confusing, creepy, thought-provoking … and utterly brilliant!

I wanted to hate this movie, I really did, but I just can't. It's smart, well-executed, and subtle.

This is not the be all end all of mind fuck films like everyone makes it out to be, but it's still good nonetheless.

Thrilling, in an absurd way. Jake Gyllenhall nailed that creepy psycho looking. Still don't get why this film seems so well-known, tho.

Very scary bunny.
I think I should have watched this movie when I was 13, I would have been so impressed. Because I feel it is a teen movie. The direction and story feel young, fresh and immature. It has very strong parts, but also horrible cheesy moments that are completely unnecessary (the bullies, the disney XD high school portrayal, some terrible character acting here and there - I do like that the kids are not unnaturally smart or wise though). And after all, it just feels like an average movie about 'odd' vs 'normal' . I understand why it is so popular with conspiracy theory fans I know XD
I think it is worth seeing, and does deserve a cult status after its poor box office perfromance. But this film is not smart or brilliant or aesthetically significant. It is just an enjoyable movie that offers some depth in teen's mind, labelled or not.

Don't watch the The Director's Cut, it crap. I have easily watched the "original" 15 times and the The Director's Cut takes away all that is good about the movie.

Sound Effects are better in some cases but overall it's worse in every aspect.

I gave it dislike only because it was dumbed down by directors cut. It removed enigmatic aura from it.

There are not many movies you have to watch several times, but this one is.

This is just a seriously stupid movie. So overrated it hurts. It carries itself on its (however weak) supernatural elements but its fandom seems to focus on the "suck a fuck" line. Huh. That just says it all.

What makes the DC so different that the original movie?

I only saw the DC and I really didn't like it. I can understand what's good in it, but it didn't touch me as much as I expected. I was very disappointed.

Avoid the Directors Cut, it completely destroys the movie. Basically a 'for dummies' version made for the american audience who failed to grasp this brilliant gem. See the original version!
