The only part I liked was the graduation performance. It didn't have any of the charm or grit of the original. The characters rang false and fell flat.

They didn't even sing Fame in this movie!!!! WTF!!!! How can you not sing Fame in frelling Fame!!!

That was ~1.5 hrs of my life watching angsty emo ridden children and I was so sad when the stupid emo-haired boy didn't kill himself =(
