i just watched The Machinist which in my opinion is way better than Fight Club and a similar storyline. Better performances all round, better direction and more gripping

Overrated ? Maybe...but I had the chance to discover Fight club without knowing anytime out of it, without being overhyped, without even seeing the trailer...and I've been blown away litteraly...freaking great movie.

First time I waited for the grand twist and had a mixed response overall.
Second time I was blown away. Not many a time do I enjoy a film even more the second time.

Good but quite overrated. I was waiting the twisted ending, and believe, the end, was what I was expecting. Also, after all, darkness, mind games, and homoerotic scenes, it ends like quite a teeny movie.

Its remarcable, Bradd Pitt's mind sickness, HOLY SH*T, the best of the movie, worth a seen just for his acting. (Is a great movie, but is sooo overrated, trust me, dont hope too much and you are going to enjoy it).

was expecting the great "twist" but seriously enjoyed this movie. dark, gritty in a world where the underdog is crushed underfoot. superb plot, excellent acting, great support cast and david fincher giving us a masterpiece

Really enjoyed the film in many ways. Don't know if I catched the message, but maybe it has to do with humans' need to feel meaningful, special or alive, as well as the modern, urban world with all its alienation, chaos, fear and technology. Loved the athmosphere, the mood (colors, camera stuff...) and the acting.
