my god..it was much better than i expected. amazing. war movies/stories become so much better when u get to know a few soldiers, they did that well in this one. this movie and "band of brothers" give me a similar type of feeling, they move me. i believe i can watch this movie and and over again just like the mini series

I'm not saying it was a better film than Saving Private Ryan, but Flags of Our Fathers is more moving to me somehow. It gives me that feeling of nostalgia for an era I never knew, and a deep respect for the men that did. Also, Adam Beach's performance was great.
