Breathtaking animation, as always. The plot is ok... better than Brave, but not even close to other Disney classics. The one really bad thing is the music. I've never watched a Disney movie feeling annoyed when the music kicks in... Please never let Christophe Beck near Disney again for the sake of every Disney fan =|
Easily the best animated movie of the year. Its funny and heartwarming with fun twists and turns the whole way. My only issue with the film was the music. It was good, but it just doesnt fit in well with other disney classics like Lion King or Beauty and the Beast
Good movie, good music. Let It Go wasn't half as good as I expected though. In my mind, great Disney songs are ballads like Mulan's Reflection or Aladdin's a Whole New World - Let It Go feels too hip, too 2013.
Good Disney movie, but overrated. Some different and original ideas, but also some plot holes. I also felt like the character of Olaf was too much out of place, he didn't blend in (he would fit in a movie like Monster Inc. or Ice Age). The music and songs are amazing though.
Beautiful! I loved it from start to finish, it had enough disney adorableness and cute comedy to keep my happy and the added bonus of Sven and Olaf just totally tipped the scale. I am sorry Olaf but I LOVE WINTER AND SNOW! Everything winter about this movie made me so happy, Sven especially and the Aurora Borealis! The winter scenery itself was really stunning too, which is amazing to say of an animation. I loved all the little Danish additions like the food and the trolls! HAH the trolls were PERFECT! And how cute was their song. Seeing as Elsa totally stole the show with the great Let it Go, I was surprised we really didn't get to see her much and the only exploration of her was in the beginning, in that song and then right at the end. Of course Anna was lovely to watch but I would have loved more Elsa!
What I like about Frozen, is that it seems like Disney is finding their way back to "the good old recipe" for a classic! Princes, princesses, magic, the "hidden" message of the importance of love, a living snowman, fairy tale landscape, wonderful songs, and a hilarious animal character - Sven.
Not the best from Disney, but pretty darn far from being anything other than great, nevertheless!
Surprisingly fun and endearing. Disney have modernized their formula, removing a lot of the twee and saccarine touches. The characters are a lot more quirky and well rounded (even poking fun at themselves), there's a fair dose of humour, the animation's lovely, and the main theme of the plot is genuinely touching. Seeing as how sick I got of the Disney formula, this is a real breath of fresh air.

the music was not appropriate, I mean what does an african music have to do with a nordic winter tale?BaalMan
