Entertaining romp with Donnie Yen in good form.First half is quite amusing, but the comedy tapers off and the whole thing runs out of steam a bit when it tries to close the story arcs via fight scenes.
The bridge scene is really overkill, although it befits the movie well.
Overall it's a zany adventure, light-hearted, funny, over the top, ridiculous, with some spectacular fight scenes and a whopper of a sequel promise at the end. In fact, the sequel is in post-production right now.
By the way, this is supposedly a remake of "Ji dong ji xia" from 1989 with Yuen Biao. If that name means anything to you, then this should be a movie for you.
Slightly recommended.
