I love the style of this, and certain devices that Piotr Szulkin uses to convey an uneasy, tortured atmosphere are great. The modified FPS rate in the pink room and the seemingly never-ending escalator stand out in addition to the double-character switch-up in the first scene. The themes are also on point for using the classic Golem story to show a Man among Monsters rather than a Monster amongst Men.
I wish I could enjoy this more though. There are too many scenes which seem to just serve atmosphere rather than the story. I get that the wonky storytelling adds to the mysterious atmosphere, but this seems more like it adds to the convolution than it does the themes.
