2 legends .. it takes guts to do a boxing movie at their age. Their final match is worth the wait and features grt sporting acts from both the characters. Their face-offs and conversations are entertaining and give the movie some solid moments. The movie also has its fair share of emotions and sentiments, worked around family. Pleasant surprise indeed.
Despite the great cast, when this came out i scuffed it off to the side. But i got bored lately and this was available to watch so i checked it out.
Its not a bad movie. Nothing great, but it had laughs and a solid plot.
I think both leads, De Niro and Stallone, are still capable of doing great movies (American Hustle and Expendables for example), but this movie is a nice little ode to the films that made each of them famous. Nothing special but still thoroughly enjoyable

Also, The midcredits scene with Holyfield and Tyson is hilarious
Like I've said of many movies/films (there is a difference between the two), it's definitely not the best or worst movie I've seen. It has its funny and entertaining moments. Good popcorn flick.
Some good laughs, especially the line Stallone has when they're in the police station waiting to be released. The film didn't milk the schmaltz too much and neither actor stole the film. Well worth a watch for fans of either lead actor.
