Sort of reminds of me of ICMr's sometimes, reaching in, pushing for first place. Some make it, Some fail, while others don't really give.

This is brilliant documentary, everyone should watch it.

There’s basically a direct line from this film to the reality tv competition shows of the 2000s (Survivor, Big Brother, The Mole, etc). The techniques are all here: confessionals to the camera, ordinary people in an extraordinary situation, storylines that build and pay off for each of the key players, and meditations on what a contest like this says about the contestants and humanity. Mandatory viewing for reality tv fans.
