Sure, objectively good, but a little bit boring. Hope the book is better, as I have! The movie seem short for the book's thick binder.
Chinese Mo Yan is the author of this story. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature 2012 with the motivation that he "...with hallucinatory sharpness joins the saga, history and contemporary."

Cinematography is amazing. The colour red is used throughout with a crimson haze in it's finale.Emiam
