As before with this franchise, some brilliant and at times frenetic CGI animation, silly gags and a bit of heart put into a somewhat mechanical plot. Nothing offensive here, the kids will laugh their asses off like they did at the screening I attended.

I got the most laughs from this one. I'll give this franchise some credit: I don't know how many animated franchises I've seen that involve the development (not emotion wise, but the literal developing/starting) of a family in this way. A lot of Disney animated movies have family members die. Granted, they go on to start their own, but this family keeps building throughout the franchise, as opposed to shrinking. Don't get me wrong, this movie is a movie intended for children, no doubt. But they've gotten better with each movie, and I think they're fine.

Probably the most criative and enjoyable effort in the whole series. A rare occasion that the sequel is better than the original imo.
