aka: "Painted Skin"A fairly fun, comedic fantasy adventure that was at times very confusing. Some of this was based on strange editing choices in the story, but the main flaw was having a poor translation in the subtitles. There were quite a few jokes and cultural references that went right over my head, including a line that shows up involving two characters being named "Feng" because they "lack wood" (something that must relate to Feng shui or Taoist astrology or something). Still, I managed to enjoy it, and hope to find a copy of the 2008 remake soon.
