The scripts are perfect and the acting from the prinicipal characters is fantastic. Definitely one of the best TV series ever made.

It is quite monotonous and repetitive, much like your average soap series. The acting performances vary a lot. It's decent, but shouldn't be on the "Best Mini-Series" list.
