I'm giving it an 8 on imdb. Brilliant in a lot of ways but could have been more. Its nice to to see a blockbuster that keeps you thinking through out. Had holes and I agree that some characters were underdeveloped (Gordon-Levitt and Ellen Page). Certainly one of the best movies of the year but would have a hard time making a best movies of the last decade list.

Why do I have the feeling that this movie is going to be discussed over the internet till kingdom come... Terric movie anyway, especially loved the soundtrack, nice work Hans Zimmer!

I mean, did you people even think about all the little things in the movie that don't connect? Even the main idea of being in another person's dream - how do they share the same one? Yes, they're given meds to make them sleep, but it's unclear what runs through the IV, so how do they get there, etc.
The only part in the movie that was interesting for me, was the two mirrors scene, and purely in terms of cinematography.
The acting was good, but if you watch it carefully and analyze scene to scene, there won't be much good in it. As Uruloki said, it won't stand the test of time.
