@greenhorg you're confusing this movie with gits 2.0 which was a remake of the first movie. this is the sequel to that first movie and what an amazing and esoteric and mysterious movie this is. for a movie with long stretches of nothing happening this manages to keep your attention with superb directing and animation. don't watch this if you don't enjoy the series or the last movie.
I really like this one! It doesn't have an awesome plot like the first one but this is some serious eye-candy. Watch and enjoy couse it is a movie for the eyes, not the intellect.

I hate it when decent 2D animation is ruined by pointless, mediocre computer graphics.
