It's a Disaster is the first great movie I've seen from 2013. However, for me it came with genuine surprise since I didn't expect it to be this good. Now I am here to confirm that the film is indeed very good. It's smart, it's clever with the premise, well acted and while only occasionally hysterical, I was engaged with all the characters pretty much every step of the way.

Was totally blown away by how much fun I had watching this, I found myself cracking up.. especially at the ending.

Def. one of my favorites of 2013, such a underappreciated comedy.

This is just so damn good, thanks mostly to well-defined, lovable characters, very natural and funny dialogue, much of which was apparently improvised by the actors, and above all else a phenomenally quick-witted sense of humour. The last ten minutes were disappointing, and some of the relationship drama was unnecessarily protracted, but those are my only complaints of an otherwise effortlessly enjoyable movie. The fact that This Is The End, a movie with a nearly identical premise but none of the charm, humour or intelligence, killed it at the box office while this has gone mostly ignored makes me very sad.
