This documentary is not very in-depth on the subject matter and raises many questions. But the content that is there, is very well portrayed. Some of the audiovisual editing was exaggerated. The occasional scenes with the radio host may raise questions to the viewer, however, I don't know if these were necessary in a documentary that has more of an 'observing' theme, rather than a Gonzo style documentary.
There is no point in discussing the subject matter itself, unless you know your stuff. I am not familiar with the Evangelical movement, so I will refrain from forming a definite opinion based on a single, very limited documentary. I suggest other viewers do the same and judge documentaries that deal with highly debatable subjects solely on their cinematic values.
At first I still liked the kids - i mean, you can see how manipulated they are.. but that little girl at the end? Going up to that man and questioning him about where he is going to go when he dies and being all judgemental? Argh! This is when you can see the adults that they probably will become. Those adults that i really can not stand.
It is incredible how grown up people can play with kids minds!
I can't believe when I see those poor little kids shaking and "talking in languages because of god"...
I think they must have a psychotic and epileptic god, cause I don't understand in other way!
