One of the most overrated movie I've ever seen. I simply hate it.

It pretends to be about "a separation" but it is mostly about living with a alzheimer parent at home and finding out if the maid has been pushed in the stairs or not.

It is very melodramatic with a very "grey" and uninspired filming, and in the end everything is resolved by spoiler (and there's nothing racist in me saying that, it's just too much of a cop-out plotwise)

I hate it.

It's been some months when I first saw this movie and I really feel like watching it again this very moment, but it's 3 am and I just watched a 6-hour movie :-)

Buenísima. Primera vez que veo algo de Irán y debo decir que me sorprendió. Un verdadero drama.

I suppose I shouldn't be so condescending to someone who likes Sam Mendes and Zemeckis' post-Roger Rabbit period but for the life of me, I'm just sicked and tired of the ones who complain about the "long" movies in some of these lists and others who assume that "foreign mafias" exist when Frank Darabont's films are even worse than Michael Bay's!!! Hipsters or not, some people just "love" these films too much (and in some cases, the Academy too) and I'm not suggesting these individuals live across the Atlantic and only...

"there ARE some suspicious ratings from some countries"

Including U.S. of fucking A. Let me remind most here that had there not been the support of the hipster public, Memento, Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump and other mediocre crap in that IMDB Top 250 would have been out long time ago from this list...

Sure, I'm "generalizing" for pointing out the obvious, that specific American bullshit have as much support as the rest of the "mafias" might have, since some people insinuate that they exist...somewhere....

Oh yes, the majority of the included American films in most lists here is a "safe call" whilst the "unknown" films of non-Anglophone origin are automatically crap. Bravo, very mature positions and arguments, no wonder I don't promote Greek masterpieces since most around here would have called them "nationalistic crap" or would have used some other popular phrases...

I'm just glad I never called names on anyone here like that creepy Nine99 below is doing so to me...
