Stallone’s not the biggest problem. It’s Rob Schneider’s stupid sidekick character. Why would you do that to Dredd? There’s humor in the comics, but an American studio doesn’t know what to do with it because it’s British humor.
Even though it's visually nice, i wasn't compelled by this film at all - it feels so... uninspired and Stallone is wooden and uninteresting as usual. Also, the guy has inferiority complex about his height - his body language tells that he desperately wants to be a tall guy and he is not very subtle about it.
