Local Hero -- aka MestnyiGeroi
Fans of Edmund Kean or Russian émigré in France Ivan Mozzhukhin (aka Mosjoukine), the Edmund Kean of his era, will have to see this film. The movie contains a few dazzling moments, like the scene of dancing in the pub, but on the whole calling the film high melodrama would be a comical understatement. 10 years 8 months ago
