It's completely predictable and that's annoying. But Amy is adorable and Matthew is freakin' gorgeous and that's cool.
Plus breathtaking Irish nature - all that makes this movie a success.

I am ashamed to check this. It was THAT bad. I really wanted it to be good, me loving all things Irish and all, but this was just cringe worthy and not at all funny. Plot holes were endless, and the amount of "silly catastrophes" was awkward and made little to no sense. It had a few cute moments, though, and the cast did what they could. The scenery was lovely, but I can get that from looking at pictures, too. Adam Scott was a delightful surprise.

I loved the movie. It's funny, the scenery is amazing (I should definitely visit Ireland), the acting was good and the accent just melted my heart.
A-mah-zing!!

This may be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Not even Amy Adams' charm can save it. Only positive thing about this movie was Matthew Goode.

There are two things that made me see this one to the end: Irish scenery/nature and the lovely Irish accent.

I love this movie. I thought it was brilliant. Sure it is predictable and not original but the setting is just so beautiful! It's a cute story and I love it. A feel good movie indeed.

Honestly, I don't care what anyone says. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous in this movie. You can say whatever about the plot and story-line, but you have to admit you were head-over-heels for Anna and Declan's relationship. How could you not fall in love with them falling in love? This is my go-to movie for when I need a good heart-warming romantic-comedy. Call me immature, but I loved this film.

The scenery’s spectacular in the otherwise pedestrian “Leap Year” is a romantic comedy about a Boston yuppie whose marital plans get waylaid during her impulsive jaunt to Ireland. Pic is pleasant enough overall, if also somewhat gratingly old-fashioned; this is the kind of movie in which an uppity, upper-crust woman requires rough-hewn working-class masculinity to take her down a peg or three. The box office draw of rising stars Amy Adams and Matthew Goode likely won’t be strong enough to have auds leaping at the chance to see Universal’s Jan. 8 release.
