   Lovely adaptation of the Dumas’ classic by the French in French. Director Martin Bourboulon displays an old school approach with shooting all action and stunts in camera and real places with no obvious digital trickery added in post production. This brings so much freshness and gravitas to the film. Vincent Cassel, Eva Green, Louis Garrel and all others excel in their respected roles but it’s François Civil as D’Artagnan that carries it all with his charisma and naturalness. Beautifully lit and scored. One for the historical adventure aficionados. 7 months 2 weeks ago

   Average adventure with swords and muscets, has no shine even with Queen's necklace. At least there are sparks in the scenes between DÁrtaganan (François Civil) and Constance (Lyna Khoudri). 1 year ago
