I've always found the Monthy Pythons to be comedic geniuses (though sometimes a bit uneven) and this movie, together with the earlier Monthy Python and the Holy Grail, will forever stand as the two greatest achievments from their rich legacy. Besides the many laugh-out-loud gags there is actually a layer of social commentary and religious criticism (which of course got the movie banned in certain countries). Graham Chapman's desperation and sincerity in the lead role is a joy to watch while John Cleese's comic timing and facial expressions never cease to tickle my giggle. This is a true comedy gem which ranks among the greatest ever made.AeroRafa

Definitely not for me this Monty Python at the start I kinda liked but it became the same as the holy grail. Not good nor funny. There are some good jokes but they extended to much and the funny get lost.nicolaskrizan
