Sadly, I couldn't relate or feel sympathy for none of them, especially the guy. Him getting desperate at home, trying too hard to be charming with those cheap lines and her liking that or him getting annoyed at the police station... just didn't age well.
For those who haven't seen this yet, Criterion will be giving it - along with two other Fejos films - its first ever (afaik) official home video release in August.
