A fascinating and disturbing doc on the repression of homosexuals and other so-called "anti-social" elements in Revolutionary Cuba up to the Mariel boatlift. Due to the obvious bitterness of many of those interviewed, and the unfortunate but perhaps inevitable absence of any representatives of the Cuban state, the film is entirely one-sided; but it is still a vital document of an under-represented aspect of Cuban history. 11 years 5 months ago
