   Truly beautiful and inspirational; The last time I was this affected and touched by a film was a couple of years ago. Sean Penn is just impeccable; I've always seen him as a great actor but Milk just made me fall in love with him as an actor and also as a human being. One just gets lost in this man's talent and his tremendous ability to bring Harvey's character to life. I can't just leave out how superb James Franco, Emile Hirsch and Alison Pill are in this movie. A truly great cast.
   
   I'm glad this film has won Best Picture because it deserves it, no doubt. I would gladly call this a film rather than a movie because it's a beautiful, moving work of art regarding cinematography and editing. touche. 10 years 3 months ago

   Great movie, I liked the way Van Sant is mixing original materials with his own. Sean Penn is perfect. Thought Diego Luna was a bit of an overly dramatic/superficial character, though. 12 years 5 months ago
