Mainstream american filmmakers tend to have a very low opinion of the american public. They think americans have absolutely no empathy with foreigners. If there is a good foreign film, it needs a remake, and a new setting, somewhere in the us, if there is a foreigner one is supposed to feel empathy with, he speaks english. The bad guys however, speak english with a german or russian accent. 10 years ago -

Despite of people speaking english everywhere like it was the common language in the whole world, I didn't think the movie was boring at all. 7 years 10 months ago
